The Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has a membership of 800+, three committees, various task forces, and hundreds of active volunteers. Gresham is the fourth largest city in Oregon. Your chamber is in the top 5 of all Chambers in the State of Oregon.
"What is the best way to get the most out of my membership?"
The answer is BASIC! Become active soon in the Chamber! The fact is, the most successful members are those who establish a partnership with the Chamber by taking advantage of the meetings and events as opportunities for networking. You are encouraged to join one of the various volunteer committees that help other members throughout the years. Simply put, you will get out of the Chamber many times more than what you invest in your membership if you become active right away and remain an active partner.
"If I am really busy and can't attend an event, are any of my employees eligible to come?"
All of them are welcome to attend, either in your place or with you. In fact, many of our seminars and hands-on workshops are aimed at employees and not employers.
"How do I become a part of a committee?"
Volunteerism is a trait of leadership. The Chamber invites volunteers to fill openings on all committees during the year. For current openings
